WHO WE ARE

Central Virginia Angel Hearts is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping individuals in our area who face financial crisis due to illness, accident or catastrophic circumstances. In August of 2003, Dawn Doss and her late mother Geri Smoot, along with Robbie Yeatts and Debra Driskill, formed Central Virginia Angel Hearts for the purpose of creating, promoting and producing the Winter Angel Benefit Concert Series (later renamed the Geri Smoot Winter Angel Benefit), which helps families of children with financially devasting illness, and the Warren Smoot Memorial Benefit summer concert series, which helps an adult. The CVAH Board of Directors includes: Dawn Doss, president Robbie Yeatts and Mark Eades, co-treasurers Katherine Paulette, Jennifer Torres, Pablo Torres and Teresa David, co-directors and Don Williamson, program and business consultant.

SPONSORSHIPS

All concert expenses are met through sponsorships from individuals and local businesses. Artist fees, program booklet graphic design, and printing costs, as well as concert facilities and technical support are covered as concert expenses. To date, no money has been taken from the offering to offset these costs. Promotional expenses, such as mailing list postcards, postage, website and posters, are paid for through additional sponsorships and private donations. The concerts are free to the public, therefore allowing God to bless the givers and the recipient with what He has chosen.
